This is a scenography project for the upcoming “The music and art of Jean-Michel Basquiat” exhibition, set to take place in Montreal in 2021 and at the Philharmonie de Paris in 2022. Jean Michel Basquiat tore through his life like a bolt of lightning tears through the sky: with intensity, passion and dazzling speed. In this scenography, an open and uninterrupted space of pure continuity, the visitor will discover immersive microcosms, each of which present a moment in life based on an artwork, most of them accompanied by a soundscape that aims to weave together the visual experience and sonic pleasure so beloved by Basquiat.
