The purpose of restoring Saint-Antoine de Padoue church in Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt (78), without being historicist, is to prolong the life of a threatened monument. By posing the initial premise of this church as disused and unconsecrated, the interest of the project is therefore to make the landscape survive (by maintaining premises that have been abandoned), while following a programme based on one of the founding pillars of the owning entity: charity. This new programme therefore provides for the creation of medium-term social housing - Accommodation Centre and Social Reintegration - aiming to create a porous layer between the indoors and the outdoors.
