As a long-time resident of Seine-Saint-Denis (93), the metamorphosis that is gradually taking place in the area, offering a new future to its residents, is something I think about a lot. I would like to create a public space halfway between a community centre and a cultural centre, with a varied, multiple programme, such as artisanal workshops and a residence for local artists. The project would be set up in my neighbourhood in Saint-Denis, the heart of the city, in an abandoned location. I would like the micro architecture to be designed and built with the surrounding population, to allow them to take over this space and create their own living space in the heart of the district. The installation will be based on a structure of pre-existing posts, built with recycled materials collected.
