Is an interior architect or designer an artist? Can they be? Should they be? This final dissertation, entitled “State of mind”, is part of a personal exploration of sources of creativity, and should help us to answer this question. To understand the origins of creativity, it was important to first draw on the sources of a subconscious heritage. To look back at the history of movements characterised by a desire to reconcile different artistic practices. To tread the path of the artists who have successfully blended these art forms. And then, to begin to dig in almost archaeological way, but with futuristic technological means, for potential connections between creation and sources of inspiration.
