In this dissertation I tackled design and the designer.
I realised that there are as many ways of perceiving design as there are designers. I therefore attempted to find my vision of design through the history of this profession.
I chose to focus on the links we maintain with our objects as, for me, this is one of the solutions; we need to sentimentalise objects, create connections so that they are not just a simple tool for fleeting happiness or dispute, and leave behind the buying equals-happiness equation promoted by consumer society.
